IN OTHER NEWS I'm thrilled to report that my painting "Still Life With A Book" recieved an honorable mention from Judge Peggy Kroll Roberts at The American Impressionist Society's National Small Works Showcase in Fallbrook, CA.  Thank you to AIS and Peggy for this recognition.  Of 1500 entries, 170 paintings were juried into the show, and approximately 13 awards were given.  I am grateful!

I enjoyed painting this so much. The repeating shapes and back and forth of light and dark was like play for me.  It's even prettier in person.
