Seeds -sold

oil 6x6 inches When I decided to paint the seeds, I really wasn't sure I could pull it off. I reminded myself to paint from dark to light and make marks the shape and colors that I saw. I kept going, leaving each mark alone until I was done. It worked out. Whew!

  2. I wondered if you'd venture to paint the inside of this mysterious orb. Alas, you did, and it is just as juicy and refreshing as I knew it would be. Thank you for telling us your thought process as you worked. It's so lovely I can taste it.

  3. I love pomegranates so I have really been enjoying these recent paintings. This one turned out so well and I love the little pieces in the foreground. I have been following your blog long enough to know you can pull anything off, Karen!
