Cherries & Bits -sold

oil on canvas panel 4x6 inches
Shipping available after Aug. 9

These little canvases are so fun! The lemon wedges are leftovers from a barbecue now a bit dried and shriveled after hanging around in my studio. I grabbed a handful of stuff, released them onto the blue cloth, and painted it as it landed. The green thing is a curled lemon leaf. Yesterday our router went out so we have no internet. I'm posting from a neighborhood Starbucks. Yum! A new router is coming on Tuesday so I may not be able to post 'till after that. Starbucks drinks are great, but the wifi is slow!

  3. A fun way to set up a still life--just fling it onto a cloth! The painting turned out nicely and it seems like fun to post at Starbucks; although slow, you can try some frothy creation! Maybe more inspiration, too, for a new painting!Yum!

  4. You are dedicated to head to a Starbucks to post. I occasionally get a treat of a chocolate mocha with whipped cream- yum! Really like the feel of this one. Nice loose background sets up the smaller array of fun stuff:) Always love lemons and cherries.
