Lemon SOLD

oil on canvas panel 4x4 inches

Today I'm posting from Panera Bread where the soup and sandwiches are yummy and the wi-fi is faster! Yay! I guess I'm on a yellow and blue kick with my paintings. The garage sale lemons are heading toward the juice 'em stage while I try to squeeze in a few more lemon paintings. (Oops, unintentional pun there!) This nice clean blue is Twhite, thalo blue and ultramarine. The shadow has more ultramarine, a bit of cad orange and much less Twhite.

  2. A lovely little painting. I like how there is a green reflection from the leaf on top of the lemon.

  3. Love lemons with leaves on them and this is wonderful. Liked hearing what you used for the shadow- very pretty color.
So, you moved to Panera:) Cracks me up to imagine you sitting there. Try a cinnamon crunch bagel.....major yum!
