Cherry Baby Granny SOLD

oil on canvas panel 6x6 inches

I'm running out of titles for paintings that are nothing but fruit! I put the lavender under these fruits and said WOW!...red with violet--yum! Yellow-green with violet--yum! Red and green too! Whoopee!!! It's a fruity paradise of saturated color.

  1. Saturated color... and yet, not. There are lots of yummy neutrals in there too. I know what you mean about the names. And there are so many paintings "unborn"....

  2. You are just having too much fun with fruit! The pale violet background really does make the fruit pop, which is interesting because this is such an unusual color scheme. Good job making it work beautifully!

  5. like this combination, Karen. The stem is really cool on the apple, and the purple works well with the green. -Sandy Haynes
