Floral Persimmons -sold

oil on canvas panel 8x8 inches
The red, violet and orange color combo of a couple days ago was so fun I thought why not keep that going, but with more objects? This time I added a flower stem with large leaves and for small shapes, a couple of little leaves from the front yard.

  1. You amaze me with the challenges you take on! I wouldn't know where to start with this one. You really captured the lush, leafy look of it- and I love the colors. You have some very interesting dark shapes going on, and they tie together well. Nice work, Karen.

I went to two stores today and they had no persimmons- I just knew I could do a good painting of them too!
