Dappled- sold

oil 8x10 sold A lot of little girls love drawing horses. I wasn't one of them. My first attempt at painting a horse, it took me a while to get the drawing right, but I'm really happy with this one. This is a friend of ours going about his daily chores at Amy's Farm.

    Serait-ce un cheval dalmatien ?... L'an dernier j'ai photographier un certain nombre de clichés de chevaux dalmatiens dans le sud de la France...
    Une très jolie peinture. J'aime la lumière du soleil qui pénètre à travers le feuillage et illumine son ensemble. Merveilleux travail.

    I love this scene. Everything is "dappled". You can really feel the day. I was one of those little girls. I was obsessed with drawing horses, and although I don't paint them now, I can still sit down and draw one from memory. You did a great job with this one.
