Big Red Onions
oil on canvas panel 8x6 inches
Haven't had any time to paint lately with all the art show preparations. I offer this piece from last March with the good news that it received a Second Place award in Oils. There were over 80 oil entries, so I'm really happy. Tomorrow I'll have time to paint at the show. Yippee!

Big Red Onions
oil on canvas panel 6x8 inches
Our local stand had these big onions. Don't know how to eat 'em but I can paint 'em! About my last post...when I said click on the icon on the right, I forgot my subscribers don't see an icon! So subscribers, you'll have to go to my blog to hit the link to Daily Painter Originals. My bad...I'm still learning my way through cyberspace.
JUST PICKED! Rosa chose this painting as her favorite of the day on Rosa Picks...check it out! Thanks so much, Rosa!

Red Onions SOLD
oil on canvas panel 6x6 inches
Here's a fresh one. Yay! Lucky for us, there's a local farmer with a roadside stand just walking distance from our house. I'm sure it was the red-violet and green that caught my eye. I gravitate to reds and greens a lot. These smelled strong and fresh--they were probably picked just hours before.
