This week has been crazy and it's only Wednesday! Sadly, no time to paint... but I am very happy to announce that my three paintings above have been accepted into The Randy Higbee Gallery's 6" Squared Show in Costa Mesa, CA. The show features over 300 6x6" paintings from artists across U.S. and runs from Dec.4-23rd. Randy introduced himself to me at the Tustin Plein Air event in October. Besides having a huge gallery, I think he's the king behind King Of Frame...a great source for plein air frames!
For purchase information on paintings above, contact Randy Higbee Gallery 714-546-2156.
CONGRATS KAREN. THESE ARE GREAT!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, congratulations on having your paintings accepted! That would certainly be an "upper" in the ups and downs of painting. I love the "Fuji"...beautiful reflections in the bowl.
ReplyDeleteI got so busy over Thanksgiving, that I missed several of your postings. The persimmon paintings are great! I especially like the way you handling the lavenders on the background and let the underpainting show through. Makes me want to try that.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, they are fabulous!!!! I hope you sell out:)
I visited with your paintings at the 6x6 show and totally enjoyed seeing them in person. The internet is a wonderful tool, but real life is beautiful. Congrats on being in such a great show.
