oil on canvas panel 8x6 inches
Last Saturday morning Lisa McDill and I climbed a hill overlooking Pomona Valley. The tree shapes, distant mountain and haze down in the valley made for a nice subject. With Lisa's instruction I was working on my greens and atmospheric depth. I'm pretty happy with the result.
Ooh,ooh, that was my first thought when I looked at: Lovely atmospheric depth. The blue mountains in the back +winding path combine so nicely.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was that.."That Karen has been getting outdoors again!" You should be happy...it is great. Looking forward to some more.
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the depth! It's a lovely painting.
ReplyDeleteLove this one. You did a wonderful job with the composition and the atmospheric perspective. Really pretty trees too!
